Just another apocalyptic story. A lot of the ideas in this came from a dream I had, but I replaced the young emotionally troubled girl & her shitty apartment from the dream with an arrogant douche actor & his luxurious penthouse. So, this took me half a day to write and I'm finally relieved at having finished it.

The character's emotions weren't all that described but the way his world worked made it quite obvious what kind of person he was.
The sinkholes were a great touch, but maybe some more detail of the creatures?
I also might have him jump instead of shoot himself, make the phrase more literal.
